- Key discussion points:
- Committee logo still under design
- Web site development continuing
- Swap Shop tensions between self-appointed volunteers recently required intervention by DPW staff.
- Committee restated its commitment to address these concerns in future meetings.
- Dave will investigate existence of Rules and Regs from other Transfer Stations for our consideration.
- A trip will be planned to other towns (Harwich, Orleans, and Chatham were suggested) to compare operations.
- Roz will discuss with Aimee Eckman past efforts at organizing Swap Shop
- Suggestion of developing an electronic Swap Shop was noted for further discussion.
- Fred presented revised spread sheet analyzing financial impact of various percentage reductions in MSW with PAYT, and hypothetical sticker and per bag fees.
- Dave Quinn distributed sample Table of Contents for preparing our solid waste report for the Select people.
